Le premier point fort et objectif de mon voyage : voir le Golden Gate. Pour moi le plus beau pont suspendu du monde (sorry pour Millau) pourvu de proportions exceptionnelles.
Et bien j'ai fait mieux que de le voir : je l'ai pris en vélo.
Il m'a fallu vaincre mon vertige, ce que j'ai fait grâce à l'émulation produite par la présence de Andy et Barbara, un couple du Maine que j'avais rencontré dans le train entre Toronto et Vancouver. Traversée du pont en luttant contre le vent et retour en bateau après avoir pris le lunch à Sausalito. Une journée inoubliable.
