Exoracing T4 Twinscroll Turbocharger Gasket Installation Guide:

Here is our step-by-step guide to help you correctly install your turbo gasket. If you need more confidence in your ability, we always recommend getting a professional to install your parts. 

1. Switch off your engine and be sure it has cooled down if it has been driven recently; you want to avoid touching the exhaust components while still hot. 
2. Remove all oil/water lines attached to your turbo; be sure to have something to catch any excess fluids that could leak out. 
3. Remove any bolts that hold your turbo to your downpipe.
4. Undo and remove the bolts between your turbo and manifold, allowing you to remove your turbo from your car.
5. You now need to check the condition of the mating surfaces between your turbo and manifold, if there is any warpage or defects, you need to get them resurfaced flat. 
6. With your new turbo to manifold gasket, you can refit your turbo to the manifold and reattach your downpipe to the turbo. 
7. Ensure all bolts are tightened to the manufacturer's specs using a calibrated torque wrench. 
8. Refit any oil and water lines removed from your turbo.
9. Now you have fitted your new turbo to manifold gasket, run your engine through a few heat cycles.
10. When your engine has finally cooled down, we recommend retorquing all hardware that was removed during this installation.
