A rare single barrel from Nulu out of Kentucky, USA.

This US import is only available in Kentucky or here at Whisky Situation. Nulu are renowned for the quality of drink coming out of the distillery and they also produce the high rickhouse shelf New Louisville Whiskey Co with Hazmat editions.

This has been finished in toasted and honey barrels to make single cask number B1204

Barrels used to age local honey for 3, 6, and sometimes 12 months are filled with single barrel bourbon to be finished until peak flavor maturity. The honey barrel imparts a nostalgic sweetness that is very savoury and sometimes floral with a long finish that begs to be revisited. Enjoy in moderation if you can.

TASTING NOTES

The aroma offers baking spices, floral honey, sugar cookie dough, and a touch of orange peel. On the palate, expect a rich complexity with buttery toast, caramel, oak, lemon curd, floral hints, and molasses. The finish highlights the honey, leaving a warm, lasting impression reminiscent of buttered pancakes soaked in syrup.
