Like previous models the new range of Yamaha digital pianos utilise Yamaha s AWM (Advanced wave memory) tone generation for the ultimate instrument realism. To ensure a warmer, more natural even more enveloping sound, they also feature new DSS (Dynamic Stereo Sampling) piano samples. The samples are taken at different levels from loud to soft, these new samples provides subtle differences in timbre and volume depending upon how hard your touch is.
Stereo Sustain and Key-off Samples

The CLP150 offers Stereo Sustain and Key-off Samples. Stereo Sustain Samples recreate the the resonances of the strings and and soundboard when the damper pedal is is pressed, that contribute to the the unique sound of a Grand Piano. Key off samples provide the delicate sound that the keys make when thy are released for another touch of realism
