Original TYPE I Photo actually used for newspaper publication in 1955.  A Beauty!

A Vintage 1955 ORIGINAL Photograph featuring George Reeves, T.V.'s famous star for his portrayal of Superman. Terrific 7-3/4" x 9-1/2" shot of Reeves looking like his alter ego Clark Kent as he flexes his biceps for his young fan. Newspaper clipping on the reverse as the photo was used in newsprint publication at the time.  Also has 1955 date stamp that is partially visible under the original 1955 newspaper clipping.. The detail and clarity on this photo is so amazing it looks like Reeves could talk to you!

Considered by many to forever be the quintessential Superman, George Reeves, left the world with a touch of immortality.   Many actors have come after,  but George Reeves was the definitive Superman.    There never has been since, and there never will be, another comparable to George Reeves!
