Split cakes simply require a flat brush (or sponge) & water to get started.

Use a 3/4" or 1” angle or flat brush (preferably) to load all of the colours in the split cake or use smaller flat brushes to just pick up a few of the colours.

Start with the slightly damp brush or sponge and add more water as needed by just dipping one corner of the brush lightly into your water.

The internet is filled with many 1 stroke design ideas to inspire you.

Split cakes will save you loads of time, and impress clients as they watch these beautiful colours flow off your brush at the same time. 

The colours are rub-resistant yet easy to remove with soap and cold-lukewarm water.

Diamond FX products are hypoallergenic and formulated with EEC and FDA compliant cosmetic ingredients. 

Dfx products are vegan, lanolin, perfume and gluten-free.
