Process and Materials

The bear is cut from root beer colored abalone shell and set into an engraved landscape of mountains, trees, and a blue-tinted abalone river. The combination of wood and shell feels classic, rugged, and distinctly Pacific Northwest. This special watch dial is both an inlay and overlay at the same time.
