This is a bit more aromatically complex than the Champeaux because while the fruit profile is similar there is more of the sauvage-like earth, humus and underbrush influences. There is good vibrancy, detail and solid power to the medium-bodied and tautly muscular flavors that are shaped by slightly firmer if less refined tannins on the slightly austere but complex finish. Here too there is a hint of warmth but in this case it is much less intrusive if not invisible. 92/2024+
