A nice Hardy Fairy fly rod, 7' 2-piece, 1-tip, built for a #4 line. No serial number. Varnished and wrapped in garnet color. Bridge guides except for the tip-top and stripper. The tip is 1/2" shorter than the butt but was made that way. The keeper is 1 flat left. The grip is 6" long and has a cork slide band seat with aluminum ring and pocket cap. The pocket cap is stamped "Made by Hardy's England". The butt shaft is lettered with the usual Palakona in slanting script. The rod is original and comes with a green cloth bag with a "the House of Hardy, Alnwick, England" tag sewn on and provision for only one tip.
