Being offered for sale is the TIN SPICE SET of 7 GOLD-LABELED CYLINDER "JARS" (ALLSPICE, CINNAMON, CLOVES, GINGER, MUSTARD, NUTMEG & PEPPER) in ORIGINAL STORAGE/TRAVEL LIDDED CONTAINER/CANISTER by "METAL PACKAGE CORP. OF NEW YORK" (marked at underside, see last pic), from circa the early 20th century (best guess), as seen in the pictures/as described in the title. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES. Being offered for sale as-found, uncleaned. May require a thorough detailing to bring to its full potential.

CONDITION NOTES:

Good/VG vintage condition with moderate cosmetic wear throughout (i.e. multiple dings, dents, scuffs, scratches, etc.) but NO major issues, breaks or repairs. At approximately 7 o'clock, the lid has a sizable dent (see first 4 pics). All (7) lidded tin jars are present. Some lids are on, very tight and none have been cleaned. Some, if not all may have remnants of spices within and there's certainly a mixed-spice odor (not offensive - actually quite pleasant). Vast majority of original black japanning and gold lettering remains and all words are clearly legible. All-in-all, a great complete example!! See pics.

Measures 8-1/4" diameter x 3-1/2" tall, lidded. Each jar is 2-1/2" diameter x 3-1/16" tall, lidded. Total weight of set is 1 lb. 8.0 oz..
