Secrid has created a collection of wallets inspired by iconic Dutch artwork from the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam.
"Almond Blossom" (1890) was painted as a gift for Van Gogh's newborn nephew. Almond trees flower early on in the spring and are a symbol of new life. The boy was born January 31, 1890, and Van Gogh was overjoyed to know that he was named Vincent, after his uncle. Looking closely, you can see how precise Van Gogh was in painting the blue around the branches.
The "Miniwallet" by Secrid is a Red Dot award-winning, RFID-safe (cards can't be "hacked") wallet designed and produced in Holland. Compact and safe, yet stylish and spacious, it is easy to see why Secrid wallets are becoming one of the most popular worldwide. The "Miniwallet" has a buckle closure, whereas its brother (the "Slimwallet") does not feature a buckle.
This limited edition wallet is available at Glebe Trotters.
