Palm is a very cute heeled gladiator sandal from Ara. Super soft suede (say that 5 times fast) uppers are lined with leather, creating a luxe feel around your foot. The buckle is just for show, as that strap is actually Velcro underneath, making it easy to adjust. Ara uses their HighSoft construction for Palm, the same technology they use in a lot of their uber-popular walking shoes. It consists of a plush, padded insole with a foam insert hidden under the ball of the foot to create a very comfortable walking experience. The ~2" heel is offset slightly by the ~0.7" platform that runs the length of the shoe, giving the illusion of extra height while remaining more walk-able. Palm is a fantastic sandal that could dress up or down depending on the outfit/occasion.
