A nice Leonard 38H 2-piece, 2-tip for a #4 line. This late 1960's model is in near mint condition. Serial #2749. Medium action. Grip appears to have been cleaned. Tiny amount of brassing on inner guides and tip-tops. These are the only signs of use. This is the classic "Red Wrap" rod. Ferrules fit like new. Three-up node pattern, blonde cane, red wraps, and varnished butternut slide band reel seat. Polished bright hardware. Rod varnish is excellent. Keeper, one flat right. An excellent Leonard example and a great small stream rod. Brass topped aluminum tube and yellow rod bag with stiffener. Bag has a touch of red and green marker to differentiate the top pockets. Red Leonard sticker on tube is marked "38H, 7', 2 7/8 ounce, line #4, ser #2749".
