Chestnut wraps and gold tipping. Red and gold tipping at the winding check. Bronzed guides. The script remains clean and bold. Aluminum winding check. Reverse half wells grip 6" in length with only the lightest soiling and handling marks. Up-locking nickel silver reel seat over a gorgeous Walnut spacer. The ferrules are size 14/64 with an excellent fit. The rod's actual weight is 4.25 oz. The action is medium-fast that finds a great balance between power and finesse. Faster than many of Howells eight-footers. Includes original bag and tube with label.
