This is also notably reserved though aggressive swirling liberates ripe and lightly spicy aromas of red berry liqueur and stone where the latter element can be found on the rich, dense and overtly powerful flavors that possess excellent volume and plenty of mid-palate concentration. This dramatic effort is lush but focused with excellent length and it should develop well over the next decade. A fine effort but even as good as it is, it’s clearly not in the same league as the Bonnes Mares. 92/2019+
