Art's take on the fisherman's sandal, the Brighton 1578 is a funky wedge sandal that does not sacrifice comfort for a bit of height. Wonderfully soft leather uppers are lined with a soft microfibre that envelops the foot, while the adjustable buckle over the in-step helps customize the fit. The closed toe means you can wear them both a little earlier and a little later in the season than most sandals. It also means you might be able to get away with them at work! The chunky rubber wedge sole adds some height (just shy of 2"), but that is mostly offset by the ~1.25" platform under the toes. All that means is you get some extra height without feeling like you are going to fall over.
