Inspired by the high-top sneaker aesthetic, Midnight (by Olang) is a jazzy and practical winter boot option. The uppers are made of a combination of waterproof nylon and suede, and the inside is lined with a combination of wool and Olang's own OLANTEX breathable insulating film. That chunky rubber outsole also takes you a bit further off the ground, away from all the nasty stuff underfoot. An inside zipper helps get them on and off, while laces provide a customized fit. Olang claims a temperature rating of -30°C (take that with a grain of salt, as that will be different for everybody; it will depend on several factors, including your circulation and socks). The best part of these boots may be the outsole: it features Olang's JASPER outsole, with 16 stainless steel folding cleats (see the last picture). Olang does provide a special pry tool so you do not have to use your hands to operate the cleats.
