The Grainer Chelsea boot from ECCO is a beautifully rugged option in the pull-on boot world. The rich uppers are made from water-repellent oiled nubuck or suede, each with their own unique aesthetic qualities. The uppers are also produced using ECCO's own DriTan method, which drastically reduces the amount of water and chemicals used in the tanning process (which is a lot). Twin pull-tabs help get them on and off, while the deep lugged rubber outsole provides outstanding grip in less than outstanding conditions. A handsome but very tough boot.
