Nova is a super comfortable wedge sandal from Ara. Patent leather and suede uppers are lined with a soft textile to reduce friction against your skin. The buckles are just for show, as both straps are easily adjusted with Velcro. Ara uses their HighSoft construction for Nova, the same technology they use in a lot of their uber-popular walking shoes. It consists of a plush, padded insole with a foam insert hidden under the ball of the foot to create a very comfortable walking experience. The ~2" wedge heel is offset slightly by the ~1" platform that runs the length of the shoe, giving the illusion of extra height while remaining more walk-able. Nova is a fantastic sandal that could dress up or down depending on the outfit/occasion, and still do a lot of walking.
